Profile
I began my career as a dental hygienist in 2003 in Florida after graduating from Miami Dade Community College. I have worked in many areas of dentistry, including assisting, giving over 16 years of experience in the field. My enthusiasm for learning and passion for dentistry have led me to a full-time position in dental hygiene education at MCC. I believe that the most significant learning occurs in situations that are both meaningful and realistic, which encourages self discovery and construction of knowledge to occur. One of my hopes as an educator is to instill a love of learning in my students, as I share my own passion for learning with them.
